Golden Globes- Jodie Foster
Wow! Congratulations to the amazingly talented Jodie Foster. Her speech was my favorite moment from the Golden Globes. Amazing! She basically came out on her own terms, on her own time, spoke about privacy, her mother, and retirement... kinda. Whatever it was, it was a brave, heartwarming, classy, and beautiful speech. Her words brought tears to the star filled room as well as audiences all of the country in their living rooms. Congratulations Jodie Foster on receiving the Cicil B. DeMille award, and for inspiring millions around the world.
Golden Globes 2013
Tonight, in the surprisingly cold Los Angeles, gathered stars from film and television. Not only are viewers and these performers interested in who takes home an award, but more interested in the FASHION! I must say the fashion on the red carpet this year was stunning, along with the bedazeled accessories. As I was watching the red carpet, a couple dresses stood out to me as to be my opinion as best dressed.
Many stars wore dresses with a low cut. However, my favorite would have to be Kate Hudson wearing Alexander McQueen. This black low-cut dress with gold embelishment on the neck and belt looked sexy and jaw dropping. Very dramatic. I love it.
Julianne Hough looks angelic with her Monique Lhuille dress. Her hair and make-up accommodated perfectly with the dress, without over-doing the look.
Elegant. Simply elegant is what I call Taylor Swift in her Donna Karan gown. Swift looked stunning with the eggplant colored dress and dangling earrings, along with a polished low bun. Stunning!

OBAMA TAKES THE WIN!
Another four years for President Barack Obama as he wins the Election on November 6, 2012! I was watching the results, in my political science class, for the electoral votes and in came the Democratic States, then Ohio came up in favor of Obama, securing his win. The candidates needed 270 electoral votes to win and with the help of Ohio, Obama had the most electoral votes with 303, and Governor Romney had 206. Not only did Obama with with numbers, but he won with the liking and the connection he has made with the American people. I must say, this was a VERY close election, everyone on the edge of their seats! Both candidates showcased their plans and policies for our country. Obama congratulated Mitt Romney and in his speech he said, "In the weeks ahead I am looking forward to sitting down with Gov. Romney to discuss how we can move this country forward." Let's see what the next four years will bring, hopefully positive outcomes! Obama added, "I return to the White House more determined, more inspired than ever." OBAMA-BIDEN for the win! I am also ecstatic that Proposition 30 passed, which will affect me, and every student in California! Last night it was a close call as well, tying in dead even at 50-50, but our young educated students did their part in pushing for the win! Prop 30 will provide California school with funding and prevent cuts to the education system, with a temporary tax increase to fund this proposition. Yes! I can still get an education! This is the first time I was able to vote, and I will never let this opportunity pass me by! Very satisfied!

She divulges designs of Emilio Pucci, Versus by Versace, Stella McCartney, and Michael Kors, and many more styled by Ekaterina Mukhina. Along with furs, Frida is also photographed in various tight black dresses, the short all leather one being my favorite. This editorial; the furs, exquisite dresses, and rich plum lips, are gleaming with winter inspiration.

Niall Horan has a GF!
Watch out One Direction lovers, another hunk is off the market for you! AND ME! One Direction’s Irish lad, Niall Horan has a new lady, and it’s not Demi Lovato. Despite their rumors of dating, Demi choose to keep things with him on a friendship basis. However, this lucky lady is a 20 year-old drama student, Amy Green. The couple was first seen during last week’s X Factor at Fountain Studios in Wembly. Sources claim they were kissing and cuddling on the low, and he seemed very into her. From the looks of the pictures, I have to admit, they do look pretty cute together! Ah young love! But don’t worry ladies, there’s more than one direction to go to when it comes to the boys! ;)

Yves Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2013
The Yves Saint Laurent Spring Summer 2013 collection is to die for. Simple ROCK, is what I call it! Smothering in the darker colors of the season; black, mocha, brown and gold, there was also rich red and teal, adding a bit of color to the collection. All of the colors, however, accommodated perfectly with one another. These looks varied from professional attire and sophisticated evening looks, to flirtatious maxi dresses. One feature I noticed all the models wearing was a black oversized hat, which suited perfectly with all of the seasons looks. I personally am a big fan of chiffon and tie-up neck bows blouses, which was the signature of many of the looks. YSL took the hi-low trend to a new level, leaving it basic or paring it with a breezy cape. Dashing through with leather, ruffles, sequence, tuxedo jackets, hi-low dresses, and fierce capes, these models look ever so chic and dominating.

Friends with Benefits

So, just yesterday I went to watch "Friends with Benefits" and it has to be one of my favorite movies now. Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake are amazing in it. Mila is one beautiful woman, hands down. They are both outstanding actors who grasp the audiences attention right away. The movie itself has a great meaning to it and is hilarious! Highly recommend it!
